Object bricks describe what can be built up through language and become a wall, bounder, collapse, or change (=The Perception). Though the writing should be written, we studied the shape of bricks except the writing in the experimental stage. I will write these words: LOOK, WE, YOU, ARE, VICTIM, IRREVERSIBLE

Word Repeat
Video
2020
This is a short video that plays word repeatings. And I also want to try adding sound, but it also has some errors.
The sound plays multiple reading sounds. This means some people read poems at different speeds, and that sounds overlap, then finally the listener cannot understand the sound exactly.
You can watch the video!

Into the black
Oil on canvas, Silkscreen on mirror film
30 x 30 cm, 45 x 200 cm
2019
The work is a combination of forms using painting and mirror film. The audience can walk through between two sides. The meaning of 'The truth is transparent but black.' that painted on canvas is that we can see the truth inside and behind it because it is transparent. However, until when we find out the truth, the truth can submerge people's opinions so I represent that it is black that can absorb all colours. I intend to ask the question about truth and distortion as I make the audience stand between mystery sentence and visualised coded sentence. Overall, my work hopes to collaborate with the audience, encouraging them to face a distorted view and reflect themselves.
Between you and your reflection
Silkscreen and oil on transparent paper, wooden frame, mirror paper
68 x 190 x 3 cm
2019
My practice interrogates the distorted view, specifically this shaped by proximity to personal emotion and belief. It can generate 'the alternative reality and fact' with subjective thoughts, and I am attending to it. I present a visual realm using printing, painting, drawing and installation to reconstruct such event. This work is creating a space where the audience can discover, discuss this and project themselves. The audience can see their reflection from the mirror on the floor. Thus they can read and interpret these images between them and their reflection and also think these meanings and their present state..
The perspectives
Silkscreen and oil on canvas
22 x 30 cm (6 pieces)
2019
This work is composed by symbolic objects, texts and visualized sentences that depict 'distorted view' phenomenon. The practice is relevant to different perspectives by the viewing angle. 'Like' and inverted 'Lie' show similar shapes, but having opposite meanings. Also, ‘6’ or ‘9’ are the same shapes, but it is differently shown according to turn it over. Also, the sentence, which is in 1984 by George Orwell, is a code. Even though it is the real sentence “In times of universal deceit, telling the truth will be a revolutionary act.”, but it becomes code so we cannot read and understand it. These elements become a sort of tricks. These elements can contribute to offering questions and bridging the gap between the aspect and audience.
